False pregnancy ???

Lyrica has built a great nest. She feels full of babies. She didn't eat for a couple days. She has milk. 

But no kits. I am afraid that this may be a false pregancys. If it is it's the best one ever.

Worst kindling ever

Molly kindled 4 kits on Monday am. I was concerned that something was wrong due to her vent bleeding.

She seemed fine but wasn't eating or drinking much. About 12 hours later I found her with huge clumps of fur in her mouth. She had also ate a ton of fur. 

About 36 hours later she kindled 3 more kits. The nest box was trashed. It looked like she was kindling and digging. In the process she killed several kits. She also delivered one on the wire. 

When I got the best box together I had 4 live kits. One died the next day. One was clearly a fadder.

It died several days later. 

Molly had the worst case of wool block I have dealt with. After 2 days of force hydration and lots of greens soaked she finally passed a huge hair ball and has resumed eating and drinking. 

I also have 2 huge healthy kits. 

But the worst kindling ever. 

Baby cuteness

Lyrica is a year old and refusing to be breed. She glues her but to the floor. Harry has never missed so fingers crossed in a month I will have babies. 

I have a doe!!!!!!!

For the past year all of my litters have been bucks. Bucks and bucks. 

Finally in my past litter I got one doe. She is an opal and her body seems good. 

Fw for Christmas

Fingers crossed-but I am hopeful I didn't imagine the babies in her belly. 

Removing the pee

The reason I don't like white rabbits is the pee factor. This seems worse in the boys. 

Propecia is about 5 months and started to spray with a vengeance. I clean out the inside of cages about once a week- but I started doing his daily. This helped some - but he was looking like a red pearl. 

I asked on a facebook groups and was told by other breeders to use vinger and cornstarch. It helped- but not much.

Someone elese suggested hydrogen peroxide- which worked remarkably.

New home for bunnies

After much discussion my husband and I installed a green house to double as a barn and a rain room. It's working well so far and the best part is that I haven't had to deal with frozen water bottless.

Attempted to sex my 3 week old Florida white kits tonight. 3 does and 1 buck. Also trying to socialize them

Emunclaw show

We had a very good day at the emunclaw show.

Molly got 2 more legs making it so she and chronellus are grand champions. 

My fw also did well.

Prego giant

I was cleaning cages and shoved my giant and JW into 2 cages - forgetting that there was a tinny hole in between. Less than 5 minutes later the he was in her cage and the evidence indicated she was breed. Given that she is due I took her coat off.

Corny or chronellus got his third leg at the Albany show. I was so ready to take his coat. He seems pretty happy about it also. 

Baby week

Two of my FW had kits this week. My EA Splash had 2 giant kits also.

My newest Florida white

At the Albany show I bought home a new fw doe. She is still a baby. What's funny to me is people say this breed is boring- but in truth there is a difference. She has a much softer coat than my other fw.
